Aloft New Delhi Aerocity

Staying at the Aloft New Delhi Aerocity looks like any other Aloft hotel, however you will soon realize that it is far from it! While the rooms look identical to every other Aloft in the world, what set’s it apart is the service!

This hotel is located in a suburb of New Delhi called Aerocity. This is a relatively new area right outside of Delhi Airport. It contains a few major hotels, including a JW Marriott as well as a small mall and a few office buildings. There are a good selection of restaurants in Aerocity, but they are very expensive for India.

The Hotel offers car service to pick you up from the airport (may be an extra charge) and bring you to the hotel. When you arrive at the hotel, you will have to go through a security check, this is normal for all hotels in India. Walking inside, you will arrive at a round front desk counter where the staff members will be happy to assist you. Behind the front desk is the courtyard of the hotel where they host many outdoor events including a cake mixing ceremony for Diwali.

The Ground floor of the hotel contains a restaurant, bar, and lobby area. head up to the 3rd floor and you will find the pool and spa. The pool is very large and was nice and clean. Since the pool is in the middle of the hotel, it is actually quiet and you really do not hear the street noise.

Guest Rooms

The guest room’s are setup the same as most aloft hotels, the rooms feature a good size tv, plenty of outlets (including some universal plug sockets), very good closet storage, and a comfortable bed.

The Bathroom featured a large walk in shower, good size vanity with plenty of mirrors.

The food at the restaurant was fantastic. Every day it featured a buffet of new items to try and enjoy, The chef even came over and introduced himself and offered to make any special request.

My only issue with the guest room was the abundance of light switches. It seamed that it was impossible to get the lights how I wanted them without pressing 3-5 light switches in order to achieve the desired effect.
