JW Marriott – Kuala Lumpur

The JW Marriott hotel in KL is a great property to check out. You will be treated like royalty there. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now, and enjoyed every stay. The hotel remodeled the entire property in 2017 and has turned it into a high class hotel. Everything in the hotel now feels rich and expensive, however it will not break the bank staying There.

Lobby

The rooms are nice and modern, with a clean touch to them. One of the nice things of this property is that every guest room has its own door bell.

Convenient power outlets

This hotel also has the universal power sockets located throughout the room. These allow you to plug in your US power cords without the need for an adapter. I will note that Malaysia’s primary power is 220V. So make sure your devices from the US (110V) are rated to handle 220v. Most chargers, and adapters can. Some devices that can not are Hair Dryers, Curling Irons, etc.

The room featured a large 65″ TV and a nice built in desk area. LED Accent lights were installed to illuminate the marble.

Behind the desk was a built in sofa and a coffee station.

Well stocked coffee and tea area.

The bathroom also felt very updated and clean looking.

The Bathtub was in the shower.

The nice thing about this hotel is the service and staff. Since I have Platinum status with Marriott, I was also granted access to the executive lounge. The Lounge at this hotel is probably one of the best out of all of the Marriott hotels I have stayed at. This one features a make to order omelet station in the morning, and lots of food choices throughout the day.
